The annual Breast Cancer Gala, hosted by the Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Foundation (CIBCF),
gives our community a chance to celebrate local survivors while raising funds to support the work of local cancer charities. The Gala is sponsored by RE/MAX Cayman Islands, Butterfield, Chrissie
Tomlinson Memorial Hospital, Eurocar and more. A Pink Event, proceeds benefit the Cayman Islands Cancer Society (CICS) and the Lions Club of Tropical Gardens.
The Breast Cancer Gala's keynote speaker will be Joan Lunden, a Good Morning America host also
known for her success as a journalist, author, speaker and entrepreneur. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014, she will be sharing her inspirational story.
The evening kicks off at 6 pm with a cocktail reception followed by dinner, a presentation by our guest speaker, live entertainment, an auction and more. Performing will be FIGARO!, an American group of performers who have traveled the world entertaining audiences in over 20 countries.
The Cayman Islands Breast Cancer Foundation is a registered charitable organization that was founded in 2009. It supports the fight to end breast cancer by contributing to funding for research, treatment and prevention and more in the islands.
