Grand Cayman's St. Matthew's University offers both a School of Medicine and a School of Veterinary Medicine. Founded in 1997, this institution focuses on providing an affordable medical education, as well as small classes and personalized attention. 

The School of Medicine offers state-of-the-art campus facilities, pre-clinical training, basic and clinical science curriculums and a concurrent degree programme. Loans, scholarships and student housing are available.
