National Gallery Stories in Art – West Bay

The National Gallery of the Cayman Islands brings creativity and storytelling to young artists with Stories in Art at West Bay Public Library from Tuesday, September 22 to Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 2:45pm to 3:45pm each day.

Created for children aged 6–8, the programme combines storybook reading with themed art workshops inspired by local artists and authors. Children can explore shapes, colours and creative ideas through engaging hands-on activities while discovering connections between Caymanian stories and visual art.

Stories in Art is presented at district libraries in collaboration with the Cayman Islands Public Library Services. Admission is free, but spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Adult supervision is required, and advance registration is necessary.
