Cayman 27 is the most popular television station in the islands, and has been broadcasting since 1992. A free network, it offers a wide variety of news, entertainment and sports to residents. Shows offered by this station include Cayman 27 News, 27 Tonight, which focuses on the day's largest news story and Daybreak, a breakfast show. The news airs Monday through Friday at 6pm, and Daybreak airs Monday through Friday at 7am. The station utilizes their live truck to capture important stories as they happen, and also produces community events such as the Young Caymanian Leadership Awards. Radio Cayman is a celebrated government-run radio station in the islands. ICCI-FM, which airs on 101.1FM, is a non-commercial radio station owned by the International College of the Cayman Islands.
