cayman islands language

The principal language spoken in the Cayman Islands is British English. However, Cayman is home to a wide range of nationalities and languages. You are quite likely to hear Jamaican Patois, Spanish Tagalog and Haitian Creole during your visit.

English here is spoken with a Caymanian dialect, referred to as Cayman Islands English. An English Creole, it is similar to variants of Belizean Creole.
