Grand Cayman's Lighthouse School is located in Red Bay and was founded in 1976. This educational institution caters to students with special needs and employs more than 25 teachers and teacher's assistants. 

Lighthouse School is home to 89 students between the ages of 5 and 18 years and 125 students between the ages of infancy and 5 years. They offer customized, innovate programmes, including a day school and Early Intervention Programme.
