Cayman Motor Museum

The Cayman Motor Museum, located in West Bay, Grand Cayman, showcases one of the most impressive collections of rare, classic and exotic cars and motorbikes in the entire world. It was founded in 2007 by Andreas Ugland, a Norweigan professional who previously had his extensive selection scattered in different places around the globe, including Canada and England. Mr. Ugland made the decision to house his collection exclusively in the islands in order to allow the public – many of whom are very grateful – access to it.

The building was designed to not only reflect authentic Cayman architecture but also to protect its valuable contents. Envisioned as a concrete box, the museum boasts both strong structural integrity and a traditional feel that will keep the many vehicles inside out of harm's way in case of hurricanes or severe storms.

The Cayman Motor Museum is home to more than 80 pristine-condition cars and motorbikes. There are models from every era, from a 1905 Cadillac, the first vehicle ever driven in Cayman, to an 1886 Benz, the very first vehicle ever produced. Also on display are the Batmobile produced for the 1965 television series, a 1905 Cupelle, a 1952 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith, a 1970 Ferrari Dino 246 GT and a 1955 Ford Thunderbird, to name a few.

A unique and exciting destination for locals and tourists, the Cayman Motor Museum is one of a kind. Available for parties and special events, it's a great choice for birthday parties regardless of age and bookings are for a minimum of 2 hours. Entry costs $15.00 US for adults and $7.50 US for children under 12, and rates drop to $10.00 and $5.00 US on the weekend. The museum is open to the public between 9am and 5pm, Monday through Saturday.
